Go-SUMP meeting in Rome
MOTIVATE representatives from Almada (Pedro Gomez) and AEGEA (Alexia Spyridonidou and Eleni-Danai Mavraki) took part in the GO-SUMP meeting in Rome on the 17th of May 2018 and actively took part at the working sessions of the following thematic groups:
TOURIST DESTINATIONS: Solutions to tackle mobility challenges in cities, derived from their tourist nature / activities.
SPECIFIC SUB-AREAS OF TRIP GENERATION / ATTRACTION: Solutions to tackle mobility challenges derived from specific sub-areas (e.g. University campuses, ports, mixed-use & high-density areas surrounding city centres).
PARTICIPATORY PLANNING & PROCESSES: Solutions to involve target groups in mobility planning.
By sharing experienes of MOTIVATE regarding the participatory planning and urban transport planning needs in cities with high touristic visiting periods.
In addition, MOTIVATE representatives discussed options of synergies and sharing deliverables and good examples with other projects of the Community, such as the REMEDIO, SUMPORT and MOBILITAS projects.
